Überraschend haben THE DEVIL'S BLOOD heute via Facebook bekannt gegeben, dass die Band seit dem 22. Januar 2013 nicht mehr existiert. Das entsprechende Statement liest sich im Wortlaut wie folgt:

"As of the 22nd of January 2013 The Devil's Blood has returned into nothingness.
All planned Rituals will be cancelled.
No interviews will be done.
Consummatum est.

Auf der Homepage der Band findet sich noch ein Zusatz, der wie folgt lautet und zumindest die Frage nach dem Vermächtnis offen lässt::

This website and the facebook page will remain on-line. So any imminent development regarding the legacy of The Devil’s Blood will be announced there. And nowhere else. The web store will remain open until further notice.
