"Brush-Fires Of The Mind" nennt sich das Album von SONS OF LIBERTY, welches Jon Schaffer als Teil einer weltweiten Bewegung sieht und ausdrücklich kopiert und weitergegeben werden soll. Er möchte damit Menschen anregen, sich selbst Gedanken über die Situation unserer Welt zu machen und Nachforschungen anzustellen, unabhängig von politischen Strömungen:
